This film was created for the international film festival in Prague, 48 Hour Film Project 2013, which won the Prague Welcome Award.

This international competition 48 Hour Film Project, which is held on regular basis since 2001, took place in 120 cities worldwide in 2013 with more than 60,000 people participating. The Prague version of the competition with the title Praha 48 Hour Film Project was held for the third time. In this year, 70 teams were registered, out of which the competition finished only 59. The Prague version of the competition took place on October 4, 2013.

Each of the competing films at this festival has to be completed within 48 hours. On Friday night, a member of each film team draws a film genre and receives props, a film character and one of his or her lines. All this information must be incorporated into a screenplay, followed by shooting, editing, sounding and completed with postproduction. The final film must be ready by Sunday evening.

About the film HAPPY END

A team of film professionals named Film Lovers Production was created just for this project, to work on this competition film (Miroslav Oupic was the producer and co-scriptwriter of the film).
